Becoming a Poll Worker in Elkhart County

We look forward to working with you to conduct another successful election cycle! To be a poll worker, you must undergo some training to be ready to work at your vote center.

Contact your party chairperson to be appointed as a poll worker:

After confirming availability with your party chairperson, please sign up for a required job-specific training session by calling the Voter Registration Office at (574) 535-6775. Spaces are limited at each session, so we need to know in advance how many people will attend.

Poll Worker Classes

Class size is limited to ensure enough materials, seats, and poll books for everyone in attendance. You will be turned away if you attend training without signing up.

Training Location

All classes will be held in the Lower Level of the County Administrative Offices Building, 117 N. 2nd Street, Goshen, IN. Each training session will last around two hours or more, so please plan accordingly.
